About the Heart Ball
The Heart Ball is held at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The evening event includes spectacular live and silent auctions, seated dinner, inspirational stories of survival and live music and dancing. The next Heart Ball will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2010. General admission is $750. Sponsorships available starting at $10,000. A message from the 2010 Heart Ball Chairs:
" We, the Sondra and Howard Bender Family, are honored to be chairing the 2010 Greater Washington Region Heart Ball. We invite you to join us in support of the American Heart Association. We have been involved in the AHA for more than 25 years and believe passionately in their mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. With a family history of heart disease, our involvement is deeply personal. The AHA does the research and sets the guidelines for healthy eating and exercise to keep our hearts healthy, thereby lowering the risk of heart disease for all of us. A healthy heart is vital to maximizing the quality of our lives. Our commitment is to promote awareness and community involvement with the AHA. Three generations of Benders will proudly be leading the 2010 Heart Ball and we want You to carry the torch With Us."
